Tammy and E.J.'s Beautiful 6.7.08 Wedding!
I just cannot say enough about Tammy and E.J. They were a joy to photograph from start to finish--they are another example of the wonderful, warm, and genuinely kind couples that we have the honor to work with--we are so lucky!
Tammy and E.J. said their "I Do's" at the Federal Grove Bed & Breakfast in Auburn, Kentucky--just outside of Bowling Green. I grew up just down the road from the B&B, so it was nice to spend some time with my family before the wedding!
Everything about this wedding had a beautiful, light, and relaxed feeling to it. From the light pink accent colors to the love that you could feel from everyone, we honestly didn't even care that it was a blazing hot day!
And I got the nicest e-mail from Tammy when she saw the images online (we also shipped her proofs right to her)--
I tell you what--there is nothing nicer than a heartfelt thank-you and I treasure every single note that we get from our clients. So thanks to you, Tammy and E.J. for being so lovely!
To view their wedding image video, click on the screen below--and I love the Los Lonely Boys song that we used!
And a few of the MANY favorites from their big day--
This one sums it all up about Tammy and E.J...

It was all about the pink--I love our new techniques on some of our images--we don't just give you the same old color, black & white, sepia, etc. We take it a step further! Why not go for it, you know?

Beautiful gown...

Beautiful bride...

It was so rural and pretty behind the B&B!

The ring bearer almost took off at the beginning of the ceremony!

At this moment, Tammy is coming around the side of the B&B with her sweet dad, but E.J. kept whispering, "I'm not going to look" over and over until they actually got to the end of the aisle. Isn't that the cutest?

And here they go!

Such a gorgeous location for a wedding!

I just love this one...

And such awesome parents!

No, I didn't pose the little ones--they did their own thing--so funny! I truly believe in letting the kids be themselves!

Isn't the light pink fabulous against the greens in the trees?

My absolute favorite--there is something about this one that I just adore...

A little fun with some texture--I like it!

Their reception was at the historic L&N Train Depot in Bowling Green--we got a few shots there of Tammy and then she and E.J. together--check out those toned arms! The girl is totally in shape!

So sweet...

Pink and perfect!

First dance...

I guess the ring bearer had enough partying for the day--I am still not sure how he got into that laundry basket, though!

Isn't the train depot beautiful?

Um, E.J.--I hate to tell you this, but that's not Tammy!

And did I mention that it was hot outside? It was so hot that people's clothes were just falling off-or should I say down...You never know when we are there to photograph you, you know!

A signature shot that everyone requests--we often have to really work for this one because it is NEVER posed--somehow it just happens, thank goodness!

A true send-off with sparklers and well-wishes! We did this one in our grunge-technique and warmed up the tones in it!

Thanks, Tammy and E.J.--we love ya!

Rosemary,
I did get to look at them and they are amazing..no I mean they are phenomenal!...I can't say that there is one picture that I don't just absolutely love! It's like we were able to relive the day through your pictures from a different view point and I love how the candid images tell a story about our day....I just want to thank you and Jonathan for capturing every element of our day and for images that E.J. and I will treasure for a lifetime!
Sincerely,
Tammy & E.J. Pennington
